the artist

hello! i’m adel, a full-time artist living in singapore. i enjoy telling story with my art – usually tranquil ’n comforting with a touch of whimsy. my medium of choice is gouache, occasionally watercolour and coloured pencils. i’m greatly inspired by the stillness and solitude of nature especially the night sky, boundless sea, changing seasons and of course cats.i work from my cosy home studio, often with the company of my cats. when i’m not making art, i can be found reading, exploring new tea recipes, journalling or playing board games with friends.
